BBL have secured a place in the playoffs at Logitech G Play Connect 2026 after finishing the group stage with an overall record of 3-2. The decisive win came against Liquid, whom they defeated 13-6 on Nuke in their final group match.

The road there was not without its bumps, however. Earlier in the day, BBL lost to 3DMAX 14-16 on Ancient, falling to 1-2 overall. The French side forced the map into overtime after BBL had been the first to reach match point at a score of 12-11. The defeat put the team under pressure, but BBL responded with two convincing wins in a row.

First, they rolled over EYEBALLERS on Ancient 13-4, where Boye was the team's most dominant player with a rating of 1.88. They then took down Liquid on Nuke, where NickyB delivered the best rating of the match at 1.59. Liquid lined up with VLDN as a stand-in for malbsMd, who was absent for personal reasons. VLDN was unable to match the level one would normally expect from malbsMd, and although EliGE and Jorko performed solidly for Liquid, it was not enough against a collectively strong BBL effort.

With a 3-2 record, BBL are guaranteed at least a third-place finish in Group B, which is sufficient for a quarterfinal spot. Inner Circle from Ukraine are locked in first place with four wins and cannot be overtaken. Both EYEBALLERS and 3DMAX can theoretically reach three wins, but BBL's dominant victory over EYEBALLERS means the Danes will win any potential tiebreaker against the Swedish side. BBL can therefore look forward to continued participation in the tournament in Poland.
