Ubisoft and BLAST have confirmed São Paulo as the host city for Six Invitational 2027, taking place from 1 to 14 February 2027. It is only the second time the tournament is held in Brazil – SI 2024 was the first – and the competitive context lends the location extra significance.
The finals will be played on 12–14 February at Suhai Music Hall, which holds just over 9,000 spectators, a capacity comparable to the venue that hosted the SI 2024 finals. Tickets start at R$40 and go up to R$700 for an Elite package, and the tournament's prize pool is $3 million USD.
The only team to have already secured a spot is Brazilian side FaZe Clan, who qualified by winning the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026. The team has reached the final at the three most recent editions of the tournament, winning in 2025 and 2026 after losing in 2024. A victory in 2027 would give them three consecutive titles on home soil.
SI 2024 in São Paulo has since been remembered as one of the greatest editions ever, after Brazilian team w7m esports staged a remarkable comeback in the final against FaZe Clan and claimed their third international championship of that season.
In the current global standings as of 22 September 2026, DarkZero Esports lead with 1,890+ points, followed by FaZe Clan with 1,750+ and ENTERPRISE Esports with 1,735+. Brazilian teams such as Team Liquid Alienware and Fluxo W7M are meanwhile at risk of missing direct qualification, having not participated in BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City – the largest opportunity to date for earning SI points. Sources disagree on the exact number of standings-based invitations: one states 15 teams, another 14, as FaZe Clan's already secured spot may shift the calculation. Five teams will in any case qualify through regional Last Chance Qualifiers. The decisive BLAST R6 Major Osaka takes place from 6 to 15 November.
