MIBR delivered one of the tournament's most dominant performances, eliminating NRG from StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 with a crushing 2-0 victory. The total round count ended 26-9 in MIBR's favor – a number that tells its own story about the balance of power between the two teams.
It was not only the size of the victory, however, but the way it was achieved that stands out. Across the two maps, MIBR built a momentum that culminated in 18 consecutive rounds – a streak that in practice ended NRG's tournament participation before the match was truly decided.
On the first map, Cache, NRG actually got off to a reasonable start and led 7-4 on the T-side. But when the sides switched, the North American team collapsed completely. MIBR won the final round of the first half and then eight rounds in a row after the side switch, resulting in a 13-7 victory.
On Inferno, MIBR's own map pick, the momentum continued without pause. NRG did not win a single round in the first nine, and MIBR went into the half-time break with a 10-2 lead. The second half was a formality, and MIBR closed out the map 13-2.
Individually, insani shone with 33 kills and a rating of 1.43 across both maps, while tomaszin contributed 31 kills and a rating of 1.45. No NRG player finished with a rating above 0.89.
With the victory, MIBR advance to the lower bracket final, where either FURIA or MOUZ awaits. NRG, meanwhile, are done at the tournament and finish in 5th-6th place.
