KRÜ Esports has in quick succession given two of the team's most central players – in-game leader saadhak and duelist Dantedeu5 – permission to seek new clubs ahead of the 2027 season. This leaves the team without its two most defining profiles and raises questions about their competitiveness in the LATAM region.
Dantedeu5, who is still contractually tied to KRÜ until the end of the 2028 season, confirmed the news himself and stated that he is open to offers from all regions and willing to play both the flex and duelist roles. Any club wishing to sign him must therefore negotiate directly with KRÜ for a deal.
The releases of the two players come in immediate succession and hit the team hard structurally. Saadhak was responsible for the team's tactical direction, while Dantedeu5 was the primary entry fragger. Together they laid the foundation for the playstyle KRÜ used throughout the 2026 season. The fact that both are departing in the same transfer window means the organisation must effectively rethink its approach from scratch.
Despite a current second-place standing in the Latin America South rankings, 2026 ended disappointingly for the team. KRÜ failed to qualify for Champions and were eliminated in the Play-Ins in Stage 2. Remaining on paper are Less, mwzera, and heat – a foundation, but not a complete roster.
For the LATAM region as a whole, the two releases mean that the market for experienced profiles is suddenly more active. Dantedeu5 is available for negotiation, and KRÜ is signalling with its decisions that the organisation is prepared for a significant change of direction heading into 2027.
