Aurora Gaming has made a significant roster change ahead of the upcoming 2026-27 Dota 2 season: Oliver "skiter" Lepko has been signed as the new carry, while Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko has been placed on the bench.
skiter joins Aurora as a free agent following Team Falcons' exit from the competitive Dota 2 scene. He is a two-time TI winner, having claimed his first title with Tundra Esports at The International 2022 and his second with Team Falcons at The International 2025.
Nightfall technically remains part of Aurora's roster, as the team has not officially terminated his contract. He has instead been placed on the bench, giving the organisation the option to retain him while he explores other opportunities.
Aurora's updated lineup is as follows:
- Oliver "skiter" Lepko (carry)
- Rafli Fathur "Mikoto" Rahman (mid laner)
- Chung "Ws" Wei Shen (off laner)
- Miroslaw "Mira" Kolpakov
- Oleh "Kaori" Medvedok
- Damien "kpii" Chok
The team will debut with the new lineup at PGL Wallachia Season 9, the first Tier 1 tournament of the 2026-27 season, which begins on September 19. However, Mikoto will not participate in the tournament for personal reasons, and Macedonian player Igor "Stojkov" Stojkov will step in as a stand-in in the mid lane.
skiter is the first former Team Falcons player to join a new team following the dissolution of that organisation. Aurora's TI 2026 campaign ended in disappointment, with the team being eliminated in 9th–13th place after losses to Team Liquid in the group stage and BetBoom Team in the elimination stage.
