Two major titles are currently offering free cosmetics to active players – but the methods are very different. Here is exactly what you need to do.
Chou 'Starforger's Glory' in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
The skin is available as part of MLBB's 10th anniversary celebration, which runs from September 18 to October 25. There are three paths to the skin:
Skin Jigsaw Puzzle – Chou (free and permanent): Complete tasks to unlock puzzle pieces and finish a board. Certain tasks are time-locked and require daily logins, so you should budget up to 15 days to reach the finish line, even if you complete the other tasks as quickly as possible. If you complete all tasks, you will receive the skin permanently and free of charge.
Legendary Bang Bang Cards (chance-based and free): Earn points by playing matches – one point per match, with a bonus point if your team wins. Once you have accumulated 45 points in total, you are guaranteed a Legendary Bang Bang Card. The Chou skin can drop when you open this specific card type. Cards can also be traded in the Auction House.
Auction House (not free): The skin may appear for bidding in the Auction House, but this requires MLBB Diamonds – so this method is not free.
OL' CLANKER drone skin in Rainbow Six Siege
In Siege, the Wasteland Circuit event is active from September 23 to October 13. To obtain the OL' CLANKER drone skin, you need to follow two steps in order:
- Link your Ubisoft and Twitch accounts via Ubisoft's official guide. The process takes between two and five minutes and must be completed before you start watching streams – otherwise your viewing time will not count.
- Watch three hours of selected streams within the event period and then manually claim your Twitch Drop. The skin will then be ready in your locker.
What both campaigns have in common is that the free reward requires active effort over time – either daily logins for up to 15 days or three hours of streaming – rather than a single purchase.
