100 Thieves have advanced to the playoffs at Stake Pulse Beat III following a 2-1 victory over Liquid. According to HLTV's VRS model, the team's Major invitation probability has risen from 30 to 55 percent. The quarterfinal is scheduled for Friday, October 16.

100 Thieves have secured a spot in the playoffs at Stake Pulse Beat III after a 2-1 victory over Liquid in the decisive group match. The advancement is not merely a tournament milestone – it has direct implications for the team's prospects of receiving a Major invitation.
According to HLTV's VRS forecast model, 100 Thieves' probability of receiving a Major invitation has risen from approximately 30 percent to 55 percent as a result of the outcome. That places the team within the range typically associated with a genuine invitation opportunity – but it is not yet a guarantee.
Converting the opportunity into an actual invitation requires the team to perform in the playoffs. The quarterfinal takes place on Friday, October 16, and the tournament's semifinals and final are held on Saturday, October 17. The further 100 Thieves advance, the more VRS points they accumulate, and the stronger the team's position will be.
In the group stage, it was Alex "poiii" Nyholm Sundgren who carried the team. He finished as the top fragger across all three maps with a combined rating of 1.56 and was particularly dominant on Dust2, where he posted a rating of 2.55 and a K/D of 13/5. The team won Dust2 by a score of 13-0, lost Inferno 8-13, and took the decider map Mirage 13-9.
100 Thieves join NIP and Sangal in the playoffs, who had already qualified from Group A. The remaining playoff spots will be decided via Groups C and D on Wednesday and Thursday.
With a VRS probability of 55 percent, 100 Thieves are close – but the playoff results will be decisive in determining whether the team ends up with a Major invitation in hand.
