Falcons 1-0 in the Swiss stage after 2-0 over TYLOO – Sunday's matches await
Falcons defeated TYLOO 2-0 in the opening match at ESL Pro League Season 24 and are now 1-0 in the Swiss stage. The team faces other 1-0 sides on Sunday and are close to reaching the playoffs at Spodek Arena.

Falcons opened ESL Pro League Season 24 with a convincing 2-0 victory over Chinese side TYLOO on Saturday morning in Katowice. The result – 13-11 on Mirage and 13-7 on Anubis – places the team featuring karrigan, TeSeS, and zonic as coach in Sunday's round of 1-0 matches, while TYLOO must compete in the 0-1 bracket.
In the Swiss format, three wins are required to secure a spot in the playoff bracket, while three losses mean elimination. Already sitting at 1-0 after the opening round, Falcons are well positioned to work their way toward the eight spots that lead to the Spodek Arena playoffs, which begin on October 9 with the final scheduled for October 11.
NiKo was the dominant player of the match with 37 kills and an overall rating of 1.50. TeSeS contributed 30 kills and a rating of 1.36, while captain karrigan finished on 23 kills and a rating of 0.79. Falcons demonstrated broad team strength: every player except karrigan reached 30 kills or more and a rating of at least 1.15.
The Swiss stage runs until October 7, and a new win on Sunday will put Falcons at 2-0 – and thus within reach of the playoffs as early as round three.
